NextDAW — music editor for ZX Spectrum Next by the composer of Target: Renegade

Gari Biasillo, a composer who made a name for himself by creating music for games like Target: Renegade, Arkanoid - Revenge of Doh and Joe Blade, is working on the first music editor for ZX Spectrum Next. It is called NextDAW(http://idpixel.ru/games/joeblade/).

This editor is going to support three AY-3-8910 sound chips and 9 channels of sound. The interface of the NextDAW resembles that of modern music editors, such as GarageBand, so the newcomers would feel themselves comfortable (classic music software is capable of scaring people away, you know). This is only a speculation, and underneath that neat interface of the NextDAW the same problems may hide, but at least it looks better.

The editor is going to be released in two weeks. It'll cost you £ 24.95 (+ £ 4.95 for delivery). Official website offers pre-order option.
