HIGHWAY SPRINT

Initial Alpha/Prototype release - 25th December 2017.

ABOUT
-----
This was rapidly developed in the course of a couple of weekends as an
experiment. Potentially this could be developed into a full game, with more
features and modes for single and multiplayer.


REQUIREMENTS
------------
512KB Chip and 512KB Other RAM required. 020 is recommended but 68000
is generally fine - there may be a few frame skips when things get busy.

The game is AGA enhanced but not required - playing on an AGA device will
use a palette based on 24 bit colour, on OCS it'll default to 12 bit colour.


HOW TO PLAY
-----------
Similar to endless runner mobile games, the goal is simply to survive as long
as possible. There are always four Players on the road, with all four either
controlled by a human player or an AI.

While your car is invincible at the rear, it can be destroyed by crashing into
something at the front. Use this fact to take out the other players.

You can also push the other cars - including general traffic - from the left
or the right, which can be handy for setting up traps.


CONTROLS

Player 1: Joystick in port 2
Player 2: Joystick in port 1

Depending on the control scheme selected, the controls for players 3 and 4 
vary:

KEYBOARD
Player 3: Cursor Keys
Player 4: WASD

CD32 PAD SHARE
Player 3: Red/Blue/Green/Yellow on Joypad in port 2
Player 4: Red/Blue/Green/Yellow on Joypad in port 1

PARALLEL PORT ADAPTER
Simply the two joysticks in the parallel port adapter
