CENTROPODS
==========

From your fire base you can see metagalactic centropods descending towards you through 
a mushroom forest.

Every time you hit a cell the Centropod divides into two and moves in different
directions.

You have to destroy every cell in the Centropod, avoid gigantic poisonous spiders, and 
the missiles of an alien space ship, to win.

You'll never be able to walk across a cabbage patch again.

Loading Instructions

To load this program into your ZX Spectrum, first ensure that your cassette deck is 
properly connected and (to avoid interference) as far away from your television and 
power supply as possible. Type LOAD"" and enter, then press play on your cassette 
deck, the program will now automatically load and run. If you have difficulty in 
loading, try altering the tone and volume controls on your cassette deck. Otherwise 
refer to Chapter 20 in your Spectrum Basic User Manual.

Playing Instructions

Enter the dark, forbidding Green Forest at your peril. Many alien creatures are known 
to lurk within its depths but none more dangerous than the "Centropods".

Your task as guardian of the forest is to fight off the savage attacks of these 
vicious creatures. Make every shot count as they move through the dense undergrowth 
with amazing speed making a clear line of fire hard to find. Unfortunately, they are 
not your only enemy; you must avoid or destroy the black widow spider as it prances 
about above you, but beware, it has definite suicidal tendencies and is prone to the 
occasional kamikazi dive.

The fleas are extremely infuriating, they will run down the screen leaving a trail of 
mushrooms in their path. Destroy them at the top of the screen to avoid being swamped 
by mushrooms, thus ensuring certain death. Beware, there are many creatures in the 
forest — none of them are friendly.
