LA DRUGS BUST 
=============

The streets of Los Angeles have become INFESTED by MARAUDING GANGS of VIOLENT CRIMINALS. 
Armed to the teeth they are creating URBAN ANARCHY. Your task is to clear the streets of 
this VERMIN and return L.A. to a safe haven once more!


You are a SPECIAL AGENT attached to the Los Angeles Police Department. The Streets of 
Los Angeles have become the BATTLEGROUND for LAWLESS bands of VIOLENT CRIMINALS; fighting 
amongst themselves for supremacy. The COMMISSIONER OF POLICE has tried everything to rid 
the city of this threat to it's EXISTENCE, but the average Cop on the beat is no match 
for these VIOLENT DESPERADOES!!

There is only one option left. YOU must take to the streets yourself; ARMED with your UZI 
MACHINE GUN, you must clear each area, before moving on to clear next, increasingly more 
difficult one!


LOADING INSTRUCTIONS

Plug in a joystick, if you have one, and connect your Spectrum to a cassette player. 
Place the cassette in the player and rewind it if necessary. Spectrum 48K owners should 
type LOAD "" on the keyboard and press the ENTER key; then press the Play button on the 
cassette player. Spectrum 128K, +2, or +3 owners should press ENTER on the keyboard for 
LOADER OPTIONS and then follow the on screen prompts. Wait a few minutes for the game 
to load.


THE GAME

In each district of the city you must wipe out your daily quota of gang members. Once 
these henchmen have been eliminated you must tackle the gang boss, before going on to 
the next, more dangerous, district.

To operate your Uzi machine gun use the directional controls to move the cross-hair and 
press FIRE to shoot.

Your energy will be depleted either if you are shot, or if innocent bystanders get caught 
in the crossfire.

Extra ammunition, first aid equipment, and body armour may be liberated from gang members 
that you eliminate.


CONTROLS

You may use either the, re-definable, keyboard, or a Kempston or Sinclair joystick.
