AN INTRIGUING INTELLECTUAL PUZZLE - BEAT THE PUZZLE, WIN THE MONEY by Steve Webb.

A game to frustrate and intrigue you. It may look easy but it isn't! This is an original brain teaser with a very 
important difference.

Convinced of its difficulty to solve Virgin Games are placing SO pence for each game sold into a special Bank 
account. The first person wno manages to solve the puzzle whilst still keeping their sanity will receive the entire 
contents of that account.

If you succeed in solving the puzzle then complete the form below ana return it to Virgin Games.

How to complete the form.

In each of the 100 squares, put the letter of the piece that is covering that square, i.e. the position of ‘D’ is 
drawn here.


Instructions

The puzzle consists of various irregular shaped pieces, each of which is coded with a letter. By using the correct 
keys you can manoeuvre the shapes into any position and place you require.

CONTROLS

LEFT	UP	DOWN	RIGHT
5	7	6	8

These move the flashing cursor in the direction of the arrow.

To rotate the selected piece use key 9.

To place the selected piece use key 4.

Move the flashing cursor to the position on the board where you want to place the centre of the selected piece then 
press key 4. If you want to remove a piece from the board press 'R'.


Steve Webb is a devoted puzzle solver; his particular favourite puzzles are three dimensional types, such as Rubics
cube and The Great Pyramid puzzle.

Lojix was devised for people who enjoy spending many hours trying to work out the theory behind solving puzzles.

He works for a major software company (Virgin Games!) and would love to receive any programs that you have written 
and would like to be considered for marketing.

One of his ambitions is to meet a female programmer with a view to developing an arcade game that will appeal to 
both sexes.
