            SPIDER INVASION - GAME INSTRUCTIONS

GAME OBJECTIVE
--------------

Shoot the spiders before they reach the bottom of the
screen or slam into your ship!

Kill 7 spiders to summon the Death Widow.

Destroy the Death Widow 4 times to shatter Nightfang's
shield.

Destroy Nightfang 11 times to unlock the final battle
against Phantom Bite.

Defeat Phantom Bite to complete the game!

TIME & HEALTH
----------------------------------------------------

Keep an eye on your timer and health.

Shoot the Time Toggle in the right-hand column to
recover valuable seconds.

Shoot the Health Toggle to restore your health.

Don't spend too long collecting them—you still have
to get back across the level to stop the spiders!

Every second counts.

GAME LEVELS
----------------------------------------------------

The game becomes progressively harder as you advance.

Each level changes colour as you progress.

Complete Levels 1 to 11.

Level 12 is the Final Boss Level.

Destroy Phantom Bite to complete the game!

THE SPIDERS
----------------------------------------------------

RED Spider       - 2 hits
MAGENTA Spider   - 3 hits
GREEN Spider     - 4 hits
TEAL Spider      - 5 hits
YELLOW Spider    - Always 3 hits (very fast!)

From Level 6:

BLUE Spider      - 6 hits
WHITE Spider     - 7 hits

The tougher spiders will seriously test your tactics!

LEVEL 12 - FINAL BATTLE
----------------------------------------------------

Everything changes on the final level.

Keep destroying spiders to wear down the bosses'
shields.

If you stop attacking for too long, the shields will
recharge.

Only matching coloured bullets can damage spiders of
the same colour.

Keep your combo going.

When Phantom Bite's shield drops, attack immediately.

Wait too long and her shield will recover!

CONTROLS

O  = Move Left

P  = Move Right

F  = Fire

S  = Stop / Pause
