LOADING

Tape
Type LOAD "" and press ENTER, then press PLAY.

Emulator
Load Starball.tap using your emulator’s tape option.

GAME OBJECTIVE

Clear all blocks to advance to the next level.
Destroy more blocks to score higher points.
Finish quickly to gain time bonus points.
Take too long and your score will drop.

There are 20 levels, each with a three-minute time limit. 
Some levels require keys to unlock doors.

You start with
5 lives (You can pick up 4 extra lives)
3 Blastwave (Blast): Detonates instantly in a massive, explosive shockwave. 
3 Metorshock (Metor): Grows, slows, and detonates with unstoppable force. (not a Meteor)
4 Rocket (Ammo): Fires a deadly projectile that obliterates anything in its path.


BALL CONTROL

Starball uses a five-angle rebound system for precise control.
Angles are 135°, 120°, 90°, 60°, and 45°.
Learn the angles to master the game.

ANTI-CHEAT BYTE WATCH

Byte Watch is a built-in anti-cheat system designed for real ZX Spectrum hardware. 
It monitors lives and power-ups during play. 
On emulators, its effectiveness is limited.
