TT-64 ===== - This is a single load game for the Commodore 64. - It will run on either a PAL or NTSC system, but it is really designed to run on a PAL system. It will run slightly faster on a NTSC system and will play a little harder, therefore slightly more time will be allocated at the start of the game. Instructions ------------ - Leave the city and make your way to one of the five goals before the time runs out. - The race is five stages long but you can choose your route. - There is a checkpoint at the end of each stage. A bar will appear at the top of the screen. When the bar reaches zero the game will decide which route you take based on which side of the road you are currently riding on. - The route map at the top right of the screen will update every time you start a new stage. - Difficulty selection affects the speed of the other bikes, with the hardest level having the slowest bikes (this means they travel down the screen quicker, requiring faster reaction times). A game completion bonus is allocated depending on the option selected at the start of the game. - 1000 points is awarded for each second left on the clock after completing a game. Controls -------- - Left / Right to steer. - Fire to accelerate. - Down to brake. - Pressing "Space" will pause the game. Press fire to resume play. - Pressing "Q" while the game is paused will quit to the title screen. Tips ---- - If you hit an opponent bike then try not to weave around afterwards. Doing so will only increase the chance of hitting another opponent if they try and overtake you. - The bike handles corners better if the fire button is released. Use this ability if you get stuck on the outside of a bend. - Some weather conditions will affect the bike's road grip. Try and keep to the inside at the start of a bend.
