ZEDDY'S CLEAN SWEEP =================== A puzzle-action game for the ZX Spectrum 48K and 128K. Something has got into the machine. Bugs - a spinning Commodore logo, a shimmering owl, an ice-eating IBM logo and a chasing Apple - are loose on the circuit board, and Zeddy the cleaning droid has to sweep them up. Push the blocks, and squash the bugs. FILES ----- zeddys_clean_sweep_48k.tap for the 48K Spectrum (and any later model) zeddys_clean_sweep_128k.tap for the 128K, +2, +2A, +3: AY music and sound, extra animation, and an attract-mode demo LOADING ------- In an emulator: open the .tap file (most emulators load it straight away). On a 48K Spectrum: LOAD "" and start the tape. On a 128K / +2: choose "Tape Loader" from the menu and start the tape. PLAYING ------- Kick a block and it slides until it hits something - squashing any bug in its way. A block that can't move shatters instead. Squash every bug on the board to clear the level. Touch a bug and you lose a life. - Kick a wall and any bug touching that wall is stunned for a few seconds: walk into it to squash it. - Push the three pieces of the Sinclair logo together for a big bonus - it clears the level on the spot. - A Red Cross block turns up on some levels: walk into it (or kick it) for an extra life. (The bugs can eat it first...) - The last bug left panics and speeds up. Level 1 is a four-part tutorial (T skips it). Then 50 levels, and round again.
