It took only two days for NES Classic Mini to top the charts and leave the giants like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One behind. The info is provided by NPD Group.
It happened in part because of Nintendo's unusial stratagy that involved announcing that no more NES Classic Mini consoles will be produces and then producing a new batch. A successful launch of SNES Mini is a contributing factor too.
Responding to this Mat Piscatella, a well-known industry analyst, twitted that Nintendo managed to lead the monthly selling charts for the first time since 1995.
