Abyss Connection demoscene group has released a graphics editor for Commodore 64 called Ditheridoo.
It is designed to create multicolor graphics, allows you to work in one of four modes (checkerboard, X-line, Y-line and light dithering), is written in Python and boasts versions for Windows, macOS and Linux. It uses the file format of another popular graphic editor for C64, KoalaPainter.
You can download Ditheridoo from CSDb, and on GitHub the caring developers have posted the source code.
