Another port of the classic platformer King's Valley on Amiga has been finished. The programming was done by JC from M.A. Soft, the music by Narciso Quintana, and the graphics by Tony Galvez.
The original King's Valley was released by Konami in 1985 for MSX computers. Gameplay game resembles no less than the classic Lode Runner, only the action was transferred into the bowels of the Egyptian pyramids. The main character, a tomb raider, must collect all the treasures on the map to go further. He is hindered by the local fauna represented by the revived mummies, with whom you can either fight with a found sword, or run away by ladders, thanks to the majority of the dead move slower than the protagonist.
King's Valley has several unofficial ports, including one for ZX Spectrum and the Soviet home computer BK, but the Amiga version, of course, looks prettier than all of them, and also boasts smooth scrolling on multiscreen levels. Download the game from official site or from "Perfect Pixel".
