"Run, Rabbit, Run!" - Rabbit Runner is out on Commodore 64

As you know, rabbits are not only valuable fur, 6-8 pounds of dietary, easily digestible meat, but also great characters. Bugs Bunny won't lie. Apparently, the developer by the nickname DoubleG thinks the same, so he chose a rabbit as the main character for his C64 debut. The game is called Rabbit Runner and, as the name suggests, is an endless runner.

The little rabbit runs through farmer Wilson's field, eating the vegetables he has grown to replenish his energy. In addition to the healthy and tasty fruits, the field is littered with mushrooms, cacti, and other pumpkins that are not very nutritious or even downright unhealthy. Collision with them (read: eating) does not interrupt the run, as it happens in other runners, but significantly reduces the energy of the rabbit. It can be replenished with healthy vegetables, the main thing is not to eat the wrong thing again. However, if you crash into an obstacle like a rock or a fence, the game ends.

The game is written for PAL, but also works on NTSC, although with a small time lag. The author plans to release a full version for NTSC in the future.

You can download Rabbit Runner for free from special page or, much more convenient, from "Perfect Pixel".
