If any of today's gamers think that competition between different platforms was invented by Sony and Microsoft (or at least the Epic Games Store in spite of Steam), they are deeply mistaken. In the old days these very platforms were in abundance - many games were created for a particular device and sometimes ported to other devices, somewhere winning on the technical side, somewhere losing.
But veteran retro developer Mika Keranen, known as Misfit, is hitting the ground running. His new shooter game Crazy Blaster was released on three platforms: C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, both digitally and on physical media.
In Crazy Blaster, the player controls the spaceship of the Tech Wise Astro team. The main task is to destroy all enemies on the level and deliver the lost astronauts safely to the base. Not only the enemies, but also the unfriendly environment and heartless gravity get in the way.
You can order a physical copy (on cassette for £5 or on cartridge for £10) or download a digital copy for each platform on the official game page. Well, we've prepared direct download links - here's version for C64, here's for ZX Spectrum, and here's for Amstrad CPC.
