Independent studio BitBeamCannon, created by two artists Michael Parent and Corey Ennis, specializes in creating retro arcades inspired by the stylistics of the 8- and 16-bit era of video games. At the moment, the studio has three projects in development at once. And about the progress of two of them, designed for Amiga computers, the authors have released a special video.
The first project is called Metro Siege and is being developed together with Pixelglass and Enable Software. It is a brisk street bi-temple, clearly inspired by the classic Streets of Rage series. The action game is designed for two-player co-op play. The place of action is a certain metropolis, whose streets are crowded with gangs, fighting with each other for control. Deal with them - a task for the protagonists and players. The creators promise parallax foreground and background, more than 60 colors, joystick support and complex battles with dozens of movements.
The second game is sonically named Daemon Claw: Origins of Nnar. It is a side-view bi-temple in a fantasy setting with a system of power-ups and upgrades like in Contra. The protagonist has to defend humanity from the attack of mystical monsters from the world of Nnar. Like other developments, this fairy-tale action game is created on Construct 3 studio's own engine.
We don't know the exact release date yet, but we know, that the games will be available on Amiga, as well as on other modern platforms which are not yet specified.
