An enthusiast is developing a Shadow Warrior port for the Amiga

In 1997, the iconic 3D Realms studio released the first-person shooter Shadow Warrior on the equally iconic Build Engine by Ken Silverman. Guess if it has inherited the genes of cultishness? A little hint: a full-fledged relaunch came out in 2013, and a threequel is planned for this year. But the fact that now the developer known as BCzili is working on a port of the original game on Amiga PC will tell more about the real trace in the souls of gamers.

While the work is not completed, but everyone can sign up to become a beta tester. To do this, in addition to having the necessary hardware, you must write to the author in a private message or by email. Details can be found in a separate thread on the forum. Note: the author is actively looking for gas pedals with a Motorola 68040 processor on the bot. Otherwise the system requirements are: Motorola 68040 or 68060 processor with FPU (preferred), Kickstart 3.0, AGA chipset or RTG card, 16 MB RAM, 50 MB of disk space.

Любопытно, что воксели (пока?) не реализованы, но их в оригинальном build и не было.

Было бы круче, если бы автор порта пригласил пару build-моддеров и сделал новую, оригинальную игру на этом движке под амигу.
