Zosya Entertainment studio has released The Dark. Redux, a new version of its first-person shooter for ZX Spectrum. Yes, yes, games of this genre exist on 8-bit home computers and sometimes even do quite well, in case you didn't know.
The original (just The Dark) was written by the not unknown Oleg Origins in 1997, and in 2016 it was slightly improved and released. And now, 4.5 years later, the same Oleg (or colleagues from "Zosi", go figure these conspirators!) completely reworked the introduction, updated the in-game graphics and drew a new splash screen, without touching the main thing - gameplay and level maps.
By the way, in the coming days the studio promises to release a sequel - The Dark: Lost Pages. And then a boxed release will follow, including both games.
